Eudon Choi named his Resort collection Manik Bagh after a palace of the same moniker in Indore, India. The building is a beacon of modernist architecture in Asia, and, incidentally, it features a high concentration of carpets by the Franco-Brazilian artist Ivan da Silva Bruhns. Choi took inspiration from all of the above and ended up with an internationally flavored roster that, while in need of an edit (the show ran too long and would’ve benefitted from a trim), did have its strong points.
